Becoming an Hardware Contributors

  1. Acquire device(s): Purchase your Marco through: https://nubila.ai/order

  2. Pick a Spot – Place Marco in an open area with sunlight and clear airflow. Mount sensors at recommended heights (temperature 1.5–2m, wind ~10m).

  3. Install & Connect – Secure the brackets, attach the solar panel, connect the power cable, bind Marco in the Nubila App, and activate the device by spinning the anemometer.

  4. Go Online — Once powered and connected, Marco automatically streams data into the Nubila Network.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the device powered and online.

  • Ensure reasonable placement (open airflow, sunlight, stable mounting).

  • Perform basic maintenance: clean sensors, check connections, adjust solar panel if needed.

Rewards

Hardware Contributors earn Collect-to-Earn rewards tied to:

  • Has power & stays online

  • Is placed reasonably per siting basics (open airflow + sunlight)

  • Is bound to your account and reports from the registered geo-grid

Monitoring & Performance

  • Use the Nubila App to check your device’s online status, data reporting, and reward history.

  • Periodically verify readings against local conditions for consistency.
