#### Becoming an Hardware Contributors&#x20;

1. Acquire device(s): Purchase your Marco through: <https://nubila.ai/order><br>
2. Pick a Spot – Place Marco in an open area with sunlight and clear airflow. Mount sensors at recommended heights (temperature 1.5–2m, wind \~10m).<br>
3. Install & Connect – Secure the brackets, attach the solar panel, connect the power cable, bind Marco in the Nubila App, and activate the device by spinning the anemometer.<br>
4. Go Online — Once powered and connected, Marco automatically streams data into the Nubila Network.

#### Responsibilities

* Keep the device powered and online.
* Ensure reasonable placement (open airflow, sunlight, stable mounting).
* Perform basic maintenance: clean sensors, check connections, adjust solar panel if needed.

#### Rewards

Hardware Contributors earn Collect-to-Earn rewards tied to:

* Has power & stays online
* Is placed reasonably per siting basics (open airflow + sunlight)
* Is bound to your account and reports from the registered geo-grid

#### Monitoring & Performance

* Use the Nubila App to check your device’s online status, data reporting, and reward history.<br>
* Periodically verify readings against local conditions for consistency.
